Wood Warbler

A singing Wood Warbler was found by local birder Peter Stevens on 30th April at Littleworth Common in south Bucks.  This is a scarce bird in the county although the species used to breed in the county twenty years or so ago.  The bird proven difficult to see initially despite the fact that is was regularly singing.  It remained all day and was seen by a number of local birders but could not be located the following day.

A rubbish photo I know but the brief video below is better!



This video was taken with a mobile phone hand held on a telescope, hence a bit shaky!
