Little Marlow Birding

A walk around the lake was very pleasant.  Nothing particularly unusual to be found although a Great Black-backed Gull is certainly unusual in June.

The Common Terns on the rafts seem to be doing well and will be fledging fairly soon.

Great Black-backed Gull - A 1st summer/2nd winter bird on the sand spit.  Unusual at this time of year.

Great Crested Grebe - A few pairs now settling down to breed.

Poppy field - A impressive site on the NW of the site.

Buzzard - Seen a close range near to Colmoorholm Lane.
